1) In the book Crewel, Adelice Lewys lives in the world Arras. Arras is a world where the government runs your life. At age 16 every girl has to go to see if they are good enough to become a spinster. I am currently in the middle of Adelice and Enora's first confrontation. Enor has been assigned to be Adelices mentor. When they first met Enor has been standing outside Adelices door. Enore entered and startled Adelice, but she meant no harm. Enor had came to answer Adelices countless questions. But the main question on her mind is "What is a Crewler", I think the reason Gennifer Albin doesn't tell the reader is because being a Crewler is a very bad thing.

2) Even though I haven't been able to get that far into the book, I have enjoyed it thoroughly. The plot of this book is like none other. The was the characters are portrayed they all seem to have some sort of slyness to them.like when Enor was watching Adelice sleep, Why would she do that? The author makes you feel like you are apart of the book. The way the author writes the conversations makes you feel like your sitting right next to Adelice. Gennifer Albin is a new author to me and I'm am very pleased with her writing.

3) In this book I noticed that the theme is confusion. This theme appears in the character Adelice the most. This first appears when she is sent away to this place where she is going to be tested on how well she can spin. All she know is that this could determine her future. but the most confusing thing of all is what if Adelice becomes a spinster?

4) My favorite character is Adelice. She is very independent and to herself she is not one to be outgoing.she also gives my a sense of secretiveness. I think there is something that she is hiding and that it will reveal itself.

5) My least favorite character in the book is hard to tell at this stage of the book but it would be Enor. i think she comes off nice and sweet but she is a spinster and i think that a spinster is not a good thing to be.

6) I think Adelice will become a spinster and the reason why is because Enor picked her. The reason why i say this is because i think the thing that Adelice is hiding, is that she is a very gifted spinster. Also I think Enor will do something to harm Adelice later on in the book.
