1. Right now I am reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, by J.K Rowling. I am currently at the point when Harry awakens in the hospital wing of Hogwarts and he can hear Professor Snape and  Cornelius Fudge are discussing the fact that Sirius Black is about to be given the fatal dementor's kiss. Harry and Hermoine are protesting that it not be done to him, both claiming that Black is innocent. Later Headmaster Dumbledore enters the room telling everyone to leave and strangely he goes up to Hermoine and tells her to use her time traveling device to take her and Harry back in time to try to save Black and Hagrid's beloved bird Buckbeak.Hermione turns her hour-glass necklace back three turns, and Harry and Hermione arrive into the past, where they rescue Buckbeak shortly before his execution. From a hiding place, Harry notices that he can see dementors attacking a boy, that he finds out to be himself. He watches as he see's himself fighting off the dementors with a strong patronus, he see's a shape of a stag that he recognizes instantly as Prongs, his father's sign. After saving his past self from the Dementors, Harry and Hermione fly to the tower where Black is imprisoned, and they rescue Black, sending him away to freedom on Buckbeak's back.

2. So far I think this is a very good and detailed book to read. If I were to give it a rating I would give it a 9 because of its in-depth detail and its very believable and interesting plot line. Another reason for my rating is that this book was always building off its last chapter, and I think that really helped me understand the plot of everything and that it really helped me enjoy reading it. I would have given it a ten but some parts in the book were so extremely detailed that I could not understand how it really tied into the book, but luckily later in the book you could see that idea or plot be reinstated into the book. I really think that this book could be one of my favorite books I have read in a long time because of its non-stop action, detail and intense plot. I really enjoy reading books by J.K Rowling and I hope that the next book I read will be the next in the series; Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

3. The theme in this book that I have noticed so far would have to be compassion. Compassion is shown by many characters in the book including; Harry, Ron, Hermoine, Hagrid, Dumbledore and many more throughout the book and the series. One of the biggest places in this book where you can find compassion is  near the end when Dumbledore is very kind and tells Hermoine and Harry to go back in time and to save Black's life and Hagrid's beloved friend Buckbeak. In that part there is several examples of compassion with Dumbledore helping out Harry by telling him to go back in time and then Harry saving two lives. It is very compassionate of Harry to save Buckbeak because he knows how much he means to Hagrid and it is compassion that drives him to save them.

4. My favorite character so far would have to be Harry because throughout his whole life he has gone through hardships, losing his parents and almost all relatives, but somehow he has grownup with all that happening and still one of the best wizards that has ever lived. Also I really think that I enjoy his character because he always has a bit of suspense in the way he talks and he is very good at being friendly to everyone which I think is cool. But I also like that his character is friends with one very smart wizard and one not very smart wizard, it makes him part of group that is very cool and smart. What I don't like about his character is that he gets bullied by Malfoy and he really does nothing about until sometimes Hermoine will try to step in and fight for him.

5. My least favorite character would have to be Professor Snape because he is just an overall mean person to know. He obviously favors the boys and girls from his house and he despises people from the other houses to. He also is very mean to Harry and Ron because at times they do not focus as much as they could. Also you can kind of see in his personality that he is very dark and he easily could be working for Lord Voldermort with many other people that our bad. I also don't like him because his attitude is very bad and he always seems depressed or upset in his tone of voice.

6. My predictions for what is going to happen next our that Harry will find something out about Black that he did not know before and that somehow if he is not taken by the authorities or the dementors that he, Harry, Ron and Hermoine will go from a group of three to a group of 4 and they will all become friends sooner or later. Then everyone will be okay for a bit until something big happens like Lord Voldermort attacks or maybe something else happens.
