  1. In the end of my novel the main character Indigo Skye, just known as Indigo makes a plan of what she is going to do with the 2 and 1/2 million dollars that she was given to with. Throughout the entire book she struggled so badly with it and what she was going to do with all of the money. But towards the end, she realized that she doesn't want it just to be for her. She ends up sharing all of it with the people that mean the most in her life with: her mom, Bex, Severin, Bomba, Trevor, Jane, Nick, Trina, Joe, Funny, Leroy and herself. All of these people have done so much for her so she feels obligated to give back to them. Indigo first starts off with her mom, Indigo wants to buy her mother a house. Which she's been saying for a long time but her mother always said no that that was a silly way in which she should use her money, but Indigo is not going to take no for an answer this time. Indigo will next invest in her little sister and her twin brother, Bex and Severin. They will both get a large amount for a college fund, a new car for Severin and a charity fund in Bex's name which will be overseen by their dad. Her grandmother, Bomba, will get tickets to visit them for as long as she wants and for as much time as she wants. Indigo then thinks that its important to keep the people that she's close to to still be close, so then she invest in Trevor's business school. To take care of one of her closest friends Jane she will invest a lot of money in Carrera's, the place she waitresses at. Jane said that she'd have to sell the place because not many people were coming and that place means the world to her. Indigo then thinks of all the people that she met at Carrera's and decide that they could all use a little favor and does something special for every one of them. The very last thing she adds to the list is "invest in Indigo". She realizes that if she doesn't take care of herself, then she can't help the people that she cares so greatly for around her. The ending is a very happy one, she ends up going through with all of her plans and once she does she feels so much better about herself and the relationships that she has with all of the people in her life. In the end she has everything back to normal as if she was never even given the money, but everyone around her was so much happier and so much more grateful.

     2.  I loved this book. What made it so awesome for me was that you could go into her life and see what it                                       would be like if you ever had to deal with something like this. You could really put yourself in Indigo's perspective and you could really be like wow that's amazing I don't think that I would have the courage to do that. The whole time that I was reading this book the question that always went through my mind was "What if this was me? what would I do?" It makes you sort of start to fantasize about what you would do if someone ever gave you that kind of money. The whole idea of the book just makes you feel happy because you get to go through everything with her without being overwhelmed like Indigo was, but you're almost like apart of her life when you read it. The characters varied so much that it was cool to see what they all were like and see how the reacted to certain things in comparison to if you were them and saw how you would react. I have never read a book by this author, but I really like her style of writing because even if you aren't 16 years old you can still relate to some of the things that she was talking about in the book. I really enjoyed this book because it was a little grown up for me, but it was so interesting to see what actually happens to some of the girls when they're that age.

   3.  I notice that the theme of getting along shows up a lot throughout the book. Before she got all the money, her relationships with all of her peers were so good and she rarely got in fights with them. But then after she got 2 and 1/2 million dollars everyone starting treating her so much more different. Trevor was always doing work on his car and saying that it was "their" money, not just Indigo's. Every conversation that she seemed to have was something to have to do with her money. People would always ask her if she would quit her job or what she was going to do. So she started to get so frustrated that she was starting to push the people that she loved away, because she just didn't know how else to deal with them. When Trevor started asking for all the money to fix his car because he thought that they were sharing it, Indigo had no idea what to tell him without hurting his feelings. They ended up getting in a huge fight and then Indigo realized that she was not right for doing that to him because he honestly didn't know. So, she kept trying to call him and he wouldn't answer or he would tell her to leave him alone and that he doesn't want to see and talk to Indigo again. This happened throughout the book, but then finally towards the end she finally got to see him and they made up because she apologized so much. Trevor really proved that this theme was shown throughout the book because Trevor and Indigo's fight was basically throughout the whole book until the very end when they finally made up. The only reason that happened was because Indigo thought through what she wanted to do with the money and made a plan which included him.

   4.  I think that my favorite character in this book was Indigo's dad. Her dad was always there for her even though he lived in Hawaii. When Indigo was going through a really hard time and she just didn't know what to do he invited her to come to his house so that she could try to figure out what to do in a different environment. Even though he wasn't always there for Indigo, he still cares about her so much. He always had such good advice to give her, like when he first said that she should try and return the money. When that didn't work he didn't give up, he still tried to help her in the best way that he could. Her dad was the first one that Indigo called when she realized that she wanted to give the money to the people that she cares for so much. He was so supportive of her and offered her whatever help she needed to make sure that her plan would be carried out. That's a trait that I think everyone should have a lot more of, just being there for support but he didn't force her to do anything that she didn't want to do.

   5.  I really didn't like Jane that much. Even before Indigo got her money, Jane was still a little bit off to me. But when Indigo got the money Jane was so jealous of her that she started to lash out at her. Jane is Indigo's boss at Carrera's. Jane was jealous that such a young girl would be given so much money for just no apparent reason. Jane thought that if any one deserved to get that check that it should be her, that was really selfish of her to think. This is one of the things that made her my least favorite character was the fact that she was so jealous of Indigo. Her jealousy made her lash out at Indigo where it wasn't really needed. Like when Indigo's phone wouldn't stop going off, Jane got really upset and almost fired her but then Indigo ended up quitting. Jane lost her best employee just because her jealousy took her over.

   6.  At the beginning of the book I definitely would not have predicted that the book ended the way it did. Indigo changed so much throughout the book from an inexperienced kid to being an adult. She handled it terribly at the beginning, she was so stressed out and she pushed away the people that she was closest to. But towards the ending Indigo finally realized that she needs to help everyone. This money didn't just effect her but it affected all of her friends and family around her. I was really impressed with the way she changed from the beginning to the end because at the end she really knew what she wanted to do with the money and she had a concrete plan. At the end she ended up giving most of her money for useful things for her family and friends, but the most important thing was that she also thought about herself. The ending really made my heart smile, she made up with all the people that she was in a fight with by the ending of the book. The ending was when she gave her money to the list of people in number 1. I think that she did the right thing. She was right to give some money to the people for specific things not just for spending for no reason. She also helped herself when she decided to invest in herself and the things that she needed in her life.
